Welcome
What it’s all about
Here’s how it works. We post stuff. If you want, you read it. What kind of stuff do we post? Mostly updates on our life, pictures we’ve taken, and whatever else we feel like. How often do we post it? From time to time. Whenever we have something to say. Whenever we’re bored. How can you keep up with it? Check the site regularly or add our RSS feed to your aggregator (if you don’t know what an RSS aggregator is, the first option is for you).
Commenting and registration
If you want to, you can comment on our entries to share your thoughts with us and our other readers. In fact, we’d love it if you did. You will have to register on the site to do it, though, and we’ll have to authenticate your registration (you know, to verify that you’re actually someone we know and want posting stuff on our site). Once you’re authenticated, you can comment at will on all our entries, and even get access to some extra parts of the site.
To register now, just follow this link. You’ll be asked to make up a username and enter your email address; a password will then be emailed to you. When you log in the first time, you can change your password to something you’ll remember (we never have access to this password). Once you’re registered, try commenting on an entry. The system will then ask us to authenticate you as someone who’s allowed to comment on our site. Your comments won’t show up until we do this, so don’t worry if you don’t see them right away. Once we give the system the OK, you’ll be allowed to post on all of our entries without any further checks.
Other stuff
You’ve probably noticed that there are also some non-blog areas of the site that have been added or updated. Our gallery has been revamped, and we’ve added some extra sections for things we want to share, like our reading lists and recipes. We’ll be developing these parts of the site more over the next while, so please be patient and keep checking back. Our old wedding site is still there, too, in case you ever feel like a walk down memory lane.
Inevitably, there are some things that aren’t working just right, and some other things that could be better, so please let us know if something’s not doing what it should, or if you have any suggestions. Thanks for visiting — we hope you enjoy the site!
