Sleepy girl

Alice has always been the sleepier twin of our two. When she was very little and we had struggle to wake her up for every meal, Alasdair was afraid she would grow up thinking her name was “Wake Up!”

She’s gotten better as she’s gotten older (one of my favorite things is waking her up from naps — I say, “Alice!” and she smiles with her eyes closed before sleepily opening them and beaming at me. And her just-woken-up chubby cheeks are always so rosy and warm and oh-so-kissable!), but her ability to fall and stay asleep is still a great source of amusement.

She can fall asleep anywhere — like in her Bumbo:

Or her bouncer:

Or the middle of the floor:

All played out

And she is still occasionally quite difficult to awaken:

We love our baby girl!

She is SO cute!! Micah was looking at the Thanksgiving pics. He thinks she looks just like you. We love baby Alice at our house too. And Kate and Miley are happy to have someone that will sleep in with them at Grandmas :)
